I recently change my website from a static design to a joomla 1.5 design and when I finally got everything just the way I liked it. Siteground was able to move everyting from my test area to my main folder with out a problem. These guys are the tops in my book. I have been hosted by them for almost 4 years and they have been great and offer a awesome price. I think that they are running a special right now that allows 3.95 per month with agreement and also if you refer a friend your friend gets one year for 9.95 and you get a free month. Cehck them out I recommend it!

This is the best Webhosting service I have ever seen! It is now 3:52 A.M. in the morning and I have messed up my site trying to solve an issue with an application installed on joomla as this is not working and the guys of the TechSupport Have replied me back in minutes! I will be very objective because there is no other way to rate this hosting service: 1- Time to solved issues (if any they are every time fault of us and never SG): Simply unmatchable munimum 2- Costumer care and professionalism: Absolutely brilliant. I've never seen something so good, so professional. Better than this, I've never seen specialized personnel with a greater knowledge of what they are doing, its knowledge is "enormously enormous", and please note I'm not a beginner!!! 3- Even today I still get "stupidly" surprised with the absolutely high level of service Site Ground have to offer us, web designers! If you are with doubts don't even risk your name (in front of your clients eyes) with any other hosting services other than Site Ground.

I really like this host. There support is great. They will fix anything that is in their list of Help Desk Items within minutes. The problem is you can open a Help Desk Ticket for something that is not in their list of topics. Pay a little more and get a provider with a better Help Desk system!

At first you may have a bit of a run around until you get to know the place. They give service or support to a lot of different development platforms but they also have tutorials to get you acquainted. If you go through the FAQs and do not find what you're looking for, post a ticket and the same or the next day they will have checked your problem and will give specific advice on what to do. I am quite happy with the hosting I am getting.

This host has been really great within my first 4 weeks. Everything was created simple for people to start their own website or online market right away. The only draw back was when I started getting into html and java script coding, many of them were not working until I had contact with tech support and has told me I would have to purchase Pro builder. Supposedly I had the basic builder which I was never informed. It is taking me a while to try to get in contact with them about me purchasing the one time fee of $40 for the pro builder because they don't always pick up their phone. Another is that it feels as if there is a glitch with the sitebuilder where after I have published my page, one of the images has moved but only does this sometime.

Siteground I score at about 6/ 10 and the reason being they offer 99.9% uptime guarantee that they dont stand behind, I host many sites with siteground and there site and control panels and overall usablility is good but their servers go down all the time and they do their best to get them back up but for companies like mine that always have visitors. They offer good support except regarding thier own uptime issues. In the last 3 months they're servers have been down for the following alleged reasons, hard drive dropped( apparently they havent heard of RAID) a DNS attack, unsceduled maintenance 4 times, today my sites went down again due to thier ISP lol its just unreliablle if it were reliable it would be the best but they just arent and hosting you site with is risky.

I have ben using siteground for a couple of years. Tech support is top-notch. Though you can purchase some extra features like SSL, a basic account give you so TEN times more the other guys for half the price and they don't nickel and dime you to death. Awesome script support and installation. They have a big selection of popular scripts like Joomla, sugar CRM and you can install others. A word of advice for newbies. Don't expect hand-holding. Before you get to the tech-support guys and gals you have to exhaust the the extensive self-help features first. This is a good thing as it forces you to learn about web hosting and web design. Although I had knowledge of basic HTML, I didn\'t know of the FREE CMS until I explored the cPanel of Siteground, of course which is another paid third party software procured by SiteGround for its cutomers. I purchased a plan with another web host that was good and economical but it wasn't very user friendly. I wanted to host an ecommerce store so I needed a very frienly Control Panel to access my SQL database and PHPADMIN. I found both at SiteGround! Through my own fault in a a faulty upload I crashed my store and needed a reinstall ASAP! I wrote the ticket at SiteGround Support, was answered VERY quickly, explained the problem, and Had a new Install of my site within Hours! The isp seems to be pretty comprehensive and the servers are located in the United States. The low monthly fees are conditional upon long term agreements; not unusual. Be aware that the credit card processing is through Luxembourg, Switzerland and you will likely be charged a foreign transaction fee, which adds to the cost. In my case: $14 onto a $214 charge.

I've been a customer of Siteground for the past 8 months and in that time I've used the support system on many occasions. The response is always quick, helpful and the staff are delightful. I'm a web designer by trade so have dealt with many hosting companies in the past and I can honestly say that Siteground are the best I've come across.

Unbelievable support times. Often tickets are in progress in less than a minute and average fix rate is around 7 minutes with my experience. Incredible service for very little money. I am so happy with them over the last 4 years that I have a reseller account. I've never had an issue with my hosting and I run several photo databases with MySQL and PHP. One site has over 3500 1024pixel, 300kB pictures. I don't even worry about it on a daily basis, it just runs and runs on it's own with little or no input from me. Martin.

This is a great place to setup a reseller account. The prices are low and the service is always outstanding. I think over the 4 years I've been with Siteground there has only been one brief downtime. Not the best hosting company. There forced me to move to a VPS from Shared Hosting and were not willing to negotiate. If you sign up for long term hosting, be warned - if your website becomes too popular, they will shut down your website with only 7 days notice, which is not enough to give you time to move. They close all access after 7 days so you cannot even backup your data.

Like the other reviews, I agree the service is always quick and good. But they should ensure important notifications and policy changes reach us before sites go down. I run video training websites and have run into problems: please read the fine print about limitations of hosting media files. I now host media on the cloud and reserve the small space on siteground as backup.

Their online knowledge base is very good and comprehensive, but I couldn't find the answer to my question Tech support solved it quickly for me, however. I have been using siteground service for couple of years and based on my experience i would suggest that shared hosting package that i use is the best in the market. There are limitation though as one can not load more than 5gb of multimedia files however all other hosts do have this kind of limitation in place, i think they need to increase that limit a bit... their customer support is very efficient and overall best hosting solution esp., for small-medium companies!! I have been using siteground for last couple of year and so far so good, their prices are very much competitive for shared hosting, their support is very impressive. They are relatively new however i think they would grab even bigger market share as the times goes on... i would recommend site ground for newbies or for small businesses perfect choice! or may be it's because i did not have any bad experience yet with them... i have checked with all hosts they have limitation for file hosted on their server despite hunderds of Gbs claim one can only store upto 5gb or 50,000 files of one particular type... it annoyed me at first but i checked with all hosts all of them have limitation in place... like $4.95/month it is not bad if you don't have a big site..!!!!! so after checking with most hosts i still recommend siteground !! oh and by the way i am from Pakistan just to put so don't think i am an employee of siteground :-)

Recently I had a technical support problem. The service was quick (less than 30 minutes to restore a backup version of my site) and it was done correctly. Of course, this is a fee-based service, but I got what I paid for. My only recommendation would be that longtime clients (5 or more years) receive a few \"free\" service tickets each year.

SiteGround offers unbeatable services at a unbeatable price. Just fantastic instant support, almost 100% server oline time, immense memory and bandwith for the money. In the past, I have had 99% uptime as they quoted on their site, the only downtime was either caused by other companies, or upgrades - even with the upgrades it was once just to get me on a brand new server. Their customer support is never canned (scripted) so you feel a sense of customization with it, along with the professionalism and respect you as a customer deserve. I will be keeping as a customer with siteground for years to come!

This is the best hosting company I\'ve been working with. I began just with one domain, a year and a half ago, and now I have all my domains there. The support is the best. I\'m a reseller and when one of my clients have any problem, I need to give a prompt response to the issue. With others, I\'d have to wait for more than 24 hours, if I was lucky to geto support. I have been with Site Ground for 2 years and host numerous sites with them. They excel at getting things up and running and they have dealt with all of my problems to a satisfactory conclusion. The only downside that I've experienced is that there is no straightforward way to contact support, unless you have one of their pre-defined problems. However, every time I've contacted them, they have responded well and helped me to solve the problem.

I finally took the plunge and published a web page for my company. To my dismay there was no help available. I went through sight grounds whole tutorial and help menu and nothing helped. I am thruoghly disapointed and after over 14 hrs of frustration went to cancle my plan only to find out that they were charging me for things that they advertised as free. well now is not that special. No help and a kick in the butt on your way out is what I think I heard as I was leaving.

How can SiteGround be so good and other hosts be so bad? I've just moved my fourth domain to SiteGround and I know that I've done the right thing. They are so fast on response to tickets and they don't make changes to servers that screw up my sites then try and tell me its my fault - sound familliar ? I'm very glad I found SiteGround. Oh yeah, and their hosting plans are a great price too.

I shall not recommend you this firm. They blocked my sait without prevention. Else no month how I paid for of khosting 83 dollar. And they blocked. Wrote on mail prevention about 24 clock. And me was not of house I was on leisure. Returned home and they from steel me to need 50 dollars that again to activate my akkaunt. Here is so I lost the money. Have been with them for a few years and for normal hosting they have been great. There is a slight problem with trying to contact them and getting a real person to deal with. The support for normal site problem is fast and very good. They could do with more feed back to the customers about improving the service level. The sales staff could do with a little more training.

The four most important considerations in a web host are: impressive array services and options, fast customer service response time, 99.9% uptime, incredible price. Site Ground fully delivers on those for me. Another thing that is exciting about being their customer is the frequent upgrades they offer for no additional cost such as unlimited mySQL databases, absolutely gigantic storage space or monthly bandwidth allotment in the multiple terabyte range. I have been using SiteGround for a few months now. It is sometimes hard to find your way using the helpdesk, maybe just because of how they structured it. It is true that webmail should be quicker to access. 3 steps to access the inbox or 4 steps if the login failed because of the way cookies are handled in Mozilla Firefox. Using the basic hosting package, they offer 500 GB for webspace but only 5 GB out of 500 GB for multimedia files eg. avi, mpg, jpg etc etc... I don\'t know what are the other hosting package since they don\'t advertise it anywhere on their website. I think more space for multimedia files should be allocated. They offer 32 megs of RAM and a max filesize upload of 50 megs. It is great for integrating Gallery2 into Drupal. Overall, I am very satisfied with the hosting. My website has not experienced any downtime so far. I would recommend SiteGround to anybody!

Service has been excellent, I experienced some trouble in the beginning of the hosting program, due to an older server model, but when asking for a solution, they transferred the whole site to another server and all went just fine since then. Connections could be a little faster though, but at this price, it's the best hosting, by far!!!!

A very bad experience indeed. Their technical support response time is excellent, certainly, but their sales methods and aggressive taking of money I found unacceptable. I spelled out exactly what I needed and the sales department confirmed it was available. Then when I signed up the technical guys told me it wasn't available. The sales dept refused to refund all my money and insisted on keeping a "set up fee" for a service I never used. I never loaded a single page. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

After our four real estate websites were down for more that 12 days in 5 weeks using iPowerweb I took a chance and moved them to SiteGround. Whew! What a relief! The support is quick as advertised and very knowledgeable. I was going through nightmares trying to get iPowerweb support to do anything and that\'s when I was able to get through to them after being placed on hold routinely (For and hour or more on multiple occasions). When iPowerweb finally did get to providing support it was very poor and in many cases not available until the weekend was over or until the next day or two due to other support tickets being in front of mine. SiteGround has been a piece of cake and I love the simplicity and thoroughness of their admin area. I would never recommend iPowerweb to even my enemies but would highly recommend SiteGround. I have many problems. Yes it's true that customer support gets back to you quickly, but the site constantly gives problems, errors, cannot access, blank pages. My developers and users are so frustrated because you constantly have to refresh to access the site. I am looking to move somewhere else, Siteground is nothing but a nightmare.

The support at SiteGround is amazingly fast and prompt, I was trying to install scripts to my site and kept on failing on my end, I put through a ticket and they did it all for me in less than an hour! I thought my previous host was fast when they got to me in a day, but these people are almost instant. Lots of free tutorials and guides go through all their features step by step. It;s a great place to host (and for webAdmin, they have cPanel! yay lol)

I love this host I transfered my gaming community and 3 mod sites to this host. I total about 100-120gb of bandwidth a month between my active forums (25-100+ Active Users at Once) and I have seen no lag, no downtime, and no decline in service. I only had to send one trouble ticket, and that was only to get information about there free hosting offer (Affiliation) its true and it does work. I have recieved a total of 6 months free service from them. They dont decline me for my trafic usage either which is awesome. I definatly recomend this site for all Ammature to Novice web site designers who do not require a dedicated box. As the support and features you will recieve cannot be beaten by any other host currently on the web.

Siteground is just amazing. I have had many web hosts over the years but none compare to the service and support, or packaged deals you can get with Siteground. You definitely get the most "bang for the buck" with them, and their support can not be topped by anyone else. Your tickets are guaranteed to be solved within 15 minutes, but most of the time they are solved in under 5!! If I could rate them higher they would be a definite 100/10!

SiteGround were very helpful during set up, they do all they can to help you get started up. I've never had any problems with them that couldn't be solved. Above all they are quick to respond to your questions and problems, I've always gotten quick responses. I've never experienced any problems with our site going down either. The only real draw back that I have with them, is they don't offer phone support. None at all, it is all ticket based web support. If you can handle not talking to someone on the phone then I would recommend this host. And sometime in the ticket system you have to explain things very clearly, sometime they don't get it the first time, which is the biggest down fall of not having phone support. I will continue to host with this company for as long as they are around.

Been with Siteground for 2 weeks now, not a long time granted but the setting up of my forum was simple, payment was very cheap for 2 years, the bandwidth and space is plentiful and their customer support fantastic. I have had 2 problems with my forum (one was self inflicted) and when I asked for support they returned help within 8 minutes, and 4 minutes respectively. The first one was my own fault and resolved within 30 mins of help and advice and they even fixed a permissions error with my site I was totaly unaware off while they were looking into my problem. If you have some experience of running a site and a little tech experience of your own then you cant fault the price, the bandwidth, the usage space, the features availble free and most of all the speed of customer service. A great first time experience of Paid for Hosting for me.
