As the others above me already said this organization Really sucks. They renew our domain without letting us know in advance. They debit it first and than send me my bank approved the transaction One month before due date. We didn't say anything as we are keeping the domain. However, the automatic reminder keep coming in to Renew the domain. We requested Globat to stop it as it was paid already. Instead they put the domain expired and non accessible. When contacted them, they took ages to look into it. I agree with others, I don't like to put others name down. But all I say is STAY AWAY. They used a different name too. "Domainsarefree.com" with low price and then charged from Globat. Their Panel is also shocking. Always a problem to login in. Their system is plain terrible. I just don't want other people suffered the pain like I do.

Globat scores a 1 because there is no 0!!!!! If you do ANY sort of business with this company, than you have not done ANY research... This company is about as low down and dirty as they come... They steal... outright steal... no other way to put it... They would steal your dead grandma\'s urn.... They are notorious for signing you up for services automatically, you must opt out of them... and guess what... most opt out requests are lost!!!! (of course).... I have not actually EVER been able to use the domain name I purchased with Globat... Please don\'t make the same mistake I did... Don\'t go with Globat!!!! Go with ANYBODY BUT Globat!!!!! Tell all your friends, Globat is low down rotton scum of the Net!!!!!

I have been with Globat for four years. Since them I have had the opportunity to work with many hosting providers. (I am website developer) and I have been slowing weening clients off Globat because of unethical marketing & billing practices as well as terrible uptime. The server that my site is on, has been hacked and 48 hours later still no progress on getting this fixed. This is the second time in two weeks. I just paid my hosting again this January. My site was down for three weeks do to a billing error on their part. This is the last straw for me.

Having an on-going dispute for unauthorized billing to our account. Globat will not refund. Filing court papers to resolve this. This company is history!

Since the begging I have problems. After setting my domain, they did change the user interface, and they did not give me an user password to access it. All the time I have received "Automatic Upgrades" (Automatic Charges To My Credit Card), none of them authorized by me, now and then I cannot enter to make changes, they have kidnapped my domain name. I have another domain, and it is suspended, because I have canceled my Credit Card to avoid more Automatic/ Not Authorized charges to my Credit Card. A month before my main domain was expired I have tried many times to make them release my domain, I have no answer, after expired they contacted me, and tell me that they cannot do nothing and they cannot release my domain for another year!!!, I have an "Arrangement" with them they make me pay for another year and give me another year for free. My domain name works, but I cannot make any changes, I tried to transfer to another company, without any answer. Well if you see any offer or anything related to this company... run like hell, or it will become your worst nightmare

I've been fully satisfied with the service Globat provides. I do not even want search another one, coz I know for sure that I will not find anything cheaper than that, so why change anything if I like the price and the service?

I am an executive in a small-scale firm in the USA, and I take care of 4 commercial sites, most of them sell apparel to wholesalers. As long as I am not good at computers and staff (I am only a regular user), I have to keep an IT team who take care of my commercial and one personal sites. When the year with a really cheap and awfully unreliable hosting company was coming to an end (I do not really understand why it was so bad, I only know that when I tried to open my online-shops, they didn’t open, and I guess the same was for the customers, therefore our income decreased gradually), the development team said we need a new hosting provider, much more reliable, and stable. I said that if that means spending more money, then the hosting provider has to be extremely reliable. Still, our firm is small and we do not have much extra money to spend on the new hosting provider, besides we were really tough on funds at the time because many customers simply could not open the websites. Finally, they said Globat. I said OK, how much is it? When I heard the price I was afraid because it was not much higher. Naturally, I was concerned that it may also be a bad hosting provider. I don’t remember how but they made me believe them. Since we signed for the first “trial” period (first only for one site!) with Globat, I have been checking the website several times a day, cause I was still very uncertain because of the low price. I must say I am relieved now, our profits have increased by 20 per cent, and I believe this is because they have now good access to the website. I have never seen the site down, (although one programmer said he once couldn’t access the website at night). I started then checking the site from my home computer at night. And still I was always lucky and the site was always running. So now I can think of only one case when the site was down. After six months of “trying”, we all decided we could sign up for other 3 sites, and from now on (we have hosted with Globat for more than a year now), we never even thought of changing the hosting company. I think that there may be other, even better hosting providers which have more benefits, but unfortunately, their prices are a bit too high for our small company.

Since the beginning I have had problems. First their own easy globuild program does not work with Safari on a mac...they didn't know this and still don't...even though you tell them. then I kept gettting notices the day they were being done...that I was being billed for some extra service unless I responded by the day I received it...not good...this happened several times...then I was billed twice for the same thing under the same circumstances. Now I have someone who has hacked into my account and is sending spam under my name....can\\\'t get a proper technical answer from tech support after 4 tries. I email, as they tell me to do, the 'abuse' department and all I get back is a copy of the note I sent....and we go in circles. The support is incompetent if you can find them. I am online now to find another host as this one is a disaster. dont' use them.

Globat.com offer great deal of features! I was a little skeptical at first about how Globat.com was going to handle my website needs; however their 'bottom-range' package seemed to more than cover it! Despite previous reviews, I would like to say that ever since the server changes earlier in the year, the service they have provided has been excellent!

I had many billing problems with Globat. I cancelled my account with them, but nevertheless was billed for 6+ months! Each time I got refunds, but was billed again the next time! Customer service is not very polite. I wait and wait and wait just to be told they can't help me! I waited for 2 hours once! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!
